One of Us is Next by Karen M. McManus

One of Us is Next is just as gripping as Karen M. McManus’s previous book, One of Us is Lying. After the death of Simon Keheller, a bunch of fake reddit’s (reddit, with a lower-case r, is a social sharing web platform for content and discussion, in which participants vote on the content contributions; favourable votes elevate content to the top) open up about creepy wannabe Simons, but one stands out. An anonymous person sets up a reddit called Truth or Dare. The host of the game takes it to the next level with the option of truth being: revealing a devastating secret about the person picked and the dare being an extreme dare. With Bayview running from themselves, will they be able to find a spanner in the works of Bayview high that could lead to the host of Truth or Dare.

Recommendations:

The book mentions traumatising aspects of life such as losing parents, drugs and killing. But i would still recommend them to ages 10+ because of the thrilling aspect of this murder mystery.
